RECENT GIGS
'This Way Down' played
on Friday night (1st February) in 'The Spirit Store' as support to
the band 'The Cartel'. They are an Irish band who have a 'Red Hot Chilli Peppers' feel about them.
' This Way Down'
played at the Dundalk Institute of Technology's Rag
Week. They were playing on the Tuesday night, 26th Feb. I think there is strippers on after we are
finished (get down there lads......I saw them last year.....Excellent!).
We are starting at 9 pm and we are on till 11pm. Admission was free.
'This Way Down'
played the AOH hall in Dundalk
on Friday night 15th March and there will be some local bands playing support. The bands
kicked off at
about 9pm and we hit the stage at about 12:00pm. Someone destroyed the
toilets with a fire extinguisher and the guards were called after and we
only got to play 3 songs. There was about 250 people there and they all
had to leave. A balls of a night. Admission was 5 Euros.
Upcoming Gigs
'This Way Down'
are playing in Mcmanus's pub in Dundalk
on Thursday 28th March. We will be starting about 9:30pm and admission is free.
There is gigs organised
in London, England during the summer. Dates and venues will be posted
nearer the time.
