"This Way Down"
are a relatively new group on the music scene currently making waves across
their hometown, Dundalk, Co Louth, Ireland. The band formed in 1999 and have
been writing their own material and performing live ever since. The lads who are
all experienced musicians have played with many acts in Dundalk since 1994.
Finally by common interest and musical taste they came together to form the
band. Their love for hard driven melodic American rock can clearly be heard in
their music. The bands influences come from bands such as the 'Goo Goo Dolls',
'Therapy', 'Three Doors Down' to 'Staind'. The lads who are all in their early twenties
have a huge following in Dundalk and have impressed all with their powerful and
energetic live performances. They have played in venues such as the S.F.X.
Dublin, Spirit Store Dundalk, Rock the Planet Dundalk, Dundalk Institute of
Technology, and numerous small venues
all over Ireland and the UK.
The band are playing in
Mcmanus's Pub in Dundalk Thursday night 28th March. For more
